I collaborated with author and teacher Irene Morari on the illustration of her first children’s book, The Teacher and the Seagull (original title in Greek: Η Δασκάλα και ο Γλάρος). A passion project years in the making, the book reflects Irene’s deep commitment as an educator to teaching children the values of diversity and acceptance, messages she conveys beautifully in her debut. The Teacher and the Seagull was warmly received in Cyprus, where it is distributed, prompting a second edition and even a theatrical adaptation. Additionally, the book was shortlisted for the Cyprus Children's Book Illustration of the Year Award in 2015, the year it was published.
